A good set of rollers with the all important Ionic technology for a smooth, frizz free finish. The large sizes are great for long hair and creating large, bouncy waves. The velvet covering helps to protect the hair hold the rollers inplace in the hair. The pins that come with the rollers to secure them in the hair are quite good and better than some seen in more expensive sets as they do not leave dents in the curl. They heat up as quickly as promised to a reasonable heat to set a curl in the hair.

The Caruso SalonPro Molecular Steam hairsetters work slightly differently to other hot rollers. They are soft foam rollers that are infused with steam, the steam creates a gentle moisture that penetrates the hair allowing it to relax into the curl shape and then retain this once the moisture evaporates. The steam also keeps your hair from drying out as it can with traditional hot rollers.
This set is a great choice for really long lasting curls even in the most difficult to set hair.
There’s a number of different Caruso steam hot roller sets available, we recommend this one as it comes with varialbe sized rollers allowing you to get a number of different looks from the one set. Additional rollers can also be purchased and used with the same base.

BaByliss hot rollers are generally a good product and these are no exception. There are only 12 rollers in the set and are all a large size, so they are great for creating large bouncy curls and waves in longer hair or adding volume with a bit of wave to short hair.
The ceramic technology is a real selling point of this product, it protects the hair and creates a smooth, frizz free finish.
Some reviewers have mentioned the curl didn’t hold well, this may be the case if you have naturally straight hair that is difficult to curl. This set of rollers is best for hair that naturally has a bit of body that you want to enhance with extra waves or large curls. For naturally straighter hair we would recommend a set that ccomes with variable sized rollers, such as this set as using a smaller roll will create an initially tighter curl which as it drops out a little will result in a larger wave.

The BaBylish Pro BABHS40 Ceramic and Ionic 30 roller set is well worth the extra money you pay for it. The Ionic technology assists in getting shiny, frizz free curls and waves and also helps to protect the hair which is a feature not seen in cheaper hot rollers. They do heat up quite quickly and get very hot, some reviewers have noted this as a downside as they can be a little more difficult to handle but ultimately the high heat results in longer lasting curls.The different sized rollers included are a great feature of this set, and the large ones are quite large compared to other sets which allows you to achieve nice soft bouncy waves. Overall these are one of the best heated hair rollers available and are worth the little bit extra that you pay for them.
